I also (FINALLY) got a date for my surgery, which is going to be happening in just a little over two weeks. Although it's a little later than I hoped, it's a huge relief to have an actual day/time on the calendar. Now I'm just going to be getting as much done as I can in the time I have left. That means continuing to work on ANGELS IN L.A., and stockpiling a bunch of serial episodes so those will continue to go out for at least a few weeks while I'm recovering. I have no idea how long this thing will knock me on my butt, but I'm planning on a 2-3 weeks minimum before I can do a whole lot.
On the plus side, I got some great bed cushions and a work table, so I'm hoping I can still tinker a bit, even while I can't do a lot of physical stuff.
But overall, I'm really happy the whole thing's in process! There are still a lot of question marks around it of course, but assuming all goes well, I should be in for a new phase of my life on the other side.
